Here at T3ch H3lp, we are a technology blog run by Founder and Site Arcitecht Brandon Davenport and Executive Editor Ricardo Trejo. We started in 2008 and are growing rapidly.

We are looking for someone who can set aside 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there to do 1-3 posts a day (not including weekends). They don’t have to be a full 2 page article but they need to be informative and fun for people to read and most importantly, viral — That means they need to be hot topics in technology which will gain popularity, and also how-to’s and tutorials.

We need someone with a fair bit of experience with using a blogging platform, as we run our blog using Squarespace. We need you to have a relevant knowledge of technology and understand the industry, but most of all, enjoy it.

Most Important

We need you to be enthusiastic about your articles, and be engaged in the comments on the blog, your twitter and any other networks you belong to. We want someone who can adapt quickly to exciting new changes, and can provide us with ideas, criticism and re-enforcement. What we need is a team player.

What you get to play with

We use top of the line, premium editing tools and allow full embed code for videos and widgets, and also we provide space for you to upload your images and other posting material. We are also able to answer any questions you may have, and we provide tools to help you learn how its done.

Since we use the Squarespace CMS (content management system) we can send you to resources that the Squarespace community provides on various topics that can help you on your way. You can ask them questions, and answer some as well!

We also want to always keep in touch, so we will check up on you once in a while to see how you are doing. We are very understanding of priorities, so if you can’t post for a day or two (or a week) thats okay!

Your well being, happiness and sanity come first. Most other publications don’t care about whether you are “happy” or not. They expect your posts, and thats it, and since we aren’t paying you, you need to understand that you are giving us your time and attention, so in return we need to be understanding of your priorities, and personal challenges.

We like your ideas

We constantly bug our editors for ideas, and suggestions because this is “our” site and we need to all contribute. Send them to us in a big long email, or in a quick little Tweet. We accept them any time of day, week or year, and we will always treat them as a serious suggestion.

Editing Basics

It is 100% ok to copy and paste certain elements of another article or source, but we will not tollerate copying and pasting of the article itself, or other outlying elements explained below.

Do Not - Copy and paste paragraphs, or words obviusly written by another person. Copy and pasting Images is not acceptable (you must upload them to our site). Do not copy titles of articles, or any tag-lines or catchy phrases (be creative yourself).

OK to Copy and paste - Tables of info / Quotes / Things to be quoted / Links - and always reference the source. Always!
