Griffin decided that playing games on one small iPhone screen just wouldn’t do so they filed the PartyDock with the FCC to solve this problem. Using this docking station, you will be able to play iPad/iPhone games using just one device and 4 included wireless controllers. Of course, you won’t be able to play just any game you please. Griffin will be releasing PartyDock specific games that allow the accessory to function properly. No word on pricing or availability but expect an official announcement from the company soon!

The title says it all — Apple wants to have a kill switch to have more control over the iPhones they create. Apple has applied for a sleezy patent on technology that could render iPhones (or other devices) useless when Apple feels the device is being used wrongfully or by unauthorized users. The scary part is that they can also determine infringers through biometric information like a user’s face, voice, and even their heartbeat.
Behind the Scenes Look at Canabalt
If you’re into iPhone gaming, you’ve surely heard of Canabalt by now. One of the most exciting indie games in the App Store, it challenges you to control a guy running across the rooftops of buildings using a single button: jump. The game’s creator, Adam Saltsman (aka Adam Atomic), sits down for this interview and describes the development and critical decisions in the making of this addicting 8-bit game.

RT @t3chh3lp - iPhone users have more sex than Android Users -

It seems that iPhone users are having more late nights than other smartphone owners, namely Android users. It appears as though people who own an iPhone and are 30 years old have had 13 sexual partners, versus Androids measly 6. Oktrends was running a camera quality assurance test, and gathered info about their various demographics. After uncovering a metric ton of interesting (and sexy) info about camera users, they came across this gem. They were parsing the different data they found, and saw “all kinds of user behaviors with the camera models and found we had data on the number of sexual partners for 9,785 people with smart phones.” — Super fun right?
There's hidden code in iOS 4 for a Verizon iPhone and iPad 2
“One of our Apple sources has just informed us of something very interesting. Way down deep within iOS 4 is a pretty intriguing block of code. Our source says that the code queries the device, and if the device is either a CDMA iPhone or iPad 2, the device will auto-activate, thus bypassing the need for iTunes.” — The BGR
33% of AT&T costumers would switch... if Verizon had the iPhone...
“ChangeWave asked owners of the new Apple Inc. gadget how likely they would be to switch wireless providers if Verizon began offering the iPhone. A total of 13% said they were Very Likely and 18% Somewhat Likely to switch to Verizon. And that’s among users who already have their own iPhone.” — Investor Place
Video - iPhone case commercial will make you squirm
TUAW has found some footage that is sure to bring some old nightmares to surface, along with a tingling sensation in your spinal cord. This is a commercial for iPhone case maker “Case-mate”, and it is by far the strangest commercial we’ve seen. It’s not awful — in fact it’s pretty good in terms of cinematics and concept… but the commercial itself will make your skin crawl.

It sucks for those of us who jailbreak our iDevices when Apple releases a new update but we knew Jailbreakme was too good to last for long. By disabling the PDF exploit used by Jailbreakme, Apple has caused many users pain. With the simple jailbreak method no longer in effect, I trust the Dev Team is scratching their heads and working hard to produce a new unlocking phenomenon for the general public.
Video - Sucks When Your iPhone Drops a Hostage Call
Yeah, yeah, we hear people complaining all the time about their iPhones dropping calls and their signal bars mysteriously dropping to zip, but have you ever imagined what would happen if your iPhone dropped a call during a phone conversation with a kidnapper?

Smartphone sales now lead mobile sales
“According to data from analytics firm Gartner, smartphone sales were up over 50 percent year-over-year for a total of 61.6 million units sold, with the top four OS vendors accounting for 91 percent of the worldwide smartphone OS market.” — Ars Technica
Apple Retail Stores Now Blocking Jailbreakme.com
It seems people have been doing a bit too much jailbreaking in Apple Stores since the launch of jailbreakme.com. Allowing users to jailbreak their iDevices straight from mobile Safari, this little site has spread the unlocking craze to many Apple Stores. So the Cupertino based company decided to take a stand and just block the site in all of its official retail locations. In this video, clever user IT Geek quenches his thirst for jailbroken iPads by using his Nexus One as a hotspot. My question is, How did he even get a Nexus One into one of Apple’s sanctuaries anyways?
5 Must have apps for your Jailbroken iPhone
Just when you thought the iPhone 4 couldn’t get better (maybe sarcasm), it gets an official “slide to jailbreak” unlock — and the Cydia app store now at your fingertips. Cnet has taken some time to find the 5 coolest apps for your newly jailbroken iPhone, and I must admit, these are pretty damn cool…
