Don't forget to grab the new Twitter app for your iPad
This is by far one of the best Twitter apps every created. It’s clean, simplistic and impossibly packed full of features. It’s still free, and it has every features (and more) as the other big name apps like Tweetdeck and Twitteriffic. We still suspect that this is going to ruin these other apps, but in the end, it’s better for us… right?
Still Waiting for a Possible Twitter Re-design
Is it everyone, or is it just me? I am really hoping Twitter will be updating their look soon, but not just the homepage with the search-bar and everything. I want a cool re-design of our accounts, and personal homepages.
I like what Doug is doing here… a Dashboard of sorts with cool stats and maybe a unified homepage of @ reply’s and tweets. Is this our new homepage? lets hope!

It looks like some hackers are trying to take advantage of unsuspecting TweetDeck users. TweetDeck’s Official Support page state’s the following — “We are seeing a number of updates on Twitter urging users to download a file called “tweetdeck-08302010-update.exe” from a URL beginning withhttp://alturl.com/. — These tweets are from hacked accounts and this file does not come from us. Do not download it.

Guess what boys and girls, geeks and nerds and social networking addicts? It’s time for another Twitter App review! Last time we were here we looked at the Official Twitter App for Android and it was an all around good experience. I enjoyed it but still felt somewhat unfulfilled. And boy, did our next contestant step in and fill that void. So today, we review Twidroyd Pro. And yes, this is the paid version because all true Android Fanboys PAY for quality apps right? If not, please please turn your right palm face up and bring it aggressively to your right cheek.

What you need to do is head over to Twitter’s goodies page and you’ll find yourself at the Twitter Button setup. Remember, the following instructions are very important, and if you aren’t comfortable editing basic HTML code, I want you to follow these instructions as close as humanly possible. If you know what you’re doing, feel free to report any cool findings in the comments.
Most stuff shared on Twitter comes from old-school media - Video
Its odd, but its true — Less than half the stuff shared on Twitter comes from “new-media” like blogs and online forums, and thats a bit surprising considering the fact that Twitter is itself a new-media type service. As nerds, we all have to remember that we make up a small amount of the global population, and we’re the ones who read and share the tech blog stuff — its the majority of the population who enjoy sharing a snippet from the morning paper, or a quote from their favorite column.
Twitter is down due to "high error rates"
I’m not here to be mean to Twitter, and frankly we all need to cut them some slack. It’s a free service (we don’t pay them), so if their going to have a little down time, we have no right to complain. Your not as entitled as you think.

Twitter is quickly gaining more and more of my attention as far as social networking. After protesting it and mocking it’s users as attention needing and narcissistic, I fell victim to its spell. And I have to say, I enjoy Twitter more from my EVO 4G than from my laptop. So with that, this will be the first review of several apps that will allow you to get your “tweet” on the road. And to get the party started, we should start with my favorite, Twitter for Android.

There’s little debate whether or not Twitter has been an awesome way to communicate and share quick thoughts on the go with ease. However, it can be a pain managing all those tweets especially when some users have hundreds and even thousands of tweets to their name.
Twitter will show Videos and Images in your feed
This sounds interesting, and considering the fact that Twitter can barely keep their servers up and running, this won’t be happening anytime soon. Besides that fact, this is a really compelling idea on Twitter’s part that could open up the service to an entirely new audience…

If you’re like me, you understand the power of your friends opinions — they can severely influence your buying decisions, opinions on world issues and your influence on other people — but it’s hard to stare at plain text updates and mass amounts of noise all day. Flipboard is fixing that with their new iPad app, which takes everything your friends and taste-makers are talking about, aggregates the content and organizes it in a magazine style. We have been waiting for this for a very long time.
Change any website's fonts with FontFonter - Twitter in Comic Sans?
I was chugging though my daily Twitter reading, and I saw that @esquareda tooted about a service called FontFonter. This handy service can change any website’s fonts (like twitter, Facebook or T3ch H3lp) into whichever font you’d like. Really fun to play pranks with.
